Online Five Day Faculty Enrichment Program on Empowering Educators: A Multidimensional Approach The inaugural session of the Online Five Day Faculty Enrichment Program on "Empowering Educators: A Multidimensional Approach" commenced on 27th May 2024. The event was inaugurated by Rev. Fr. Dr. P. Anthony Vinay, Principal of SMCDC. Day 1: 27th May 2024 Keynote Speaker: Ms. Andrea Fang, Ministry of Education, Singapore Topics Covered: - Dimensions of Wellness - "We Teach Who We Are" - Role of Teachers as Mentors Session Chair: Dr. Lakshmi Mantha, Assistant Professor, Dept. of English, OU - Discussed: - Teaching, Learning, and Evaluation for Gen Z - Teaching Styles and Strategies for Gen Z - Impact of AI - Role of Faculty in Inculcating Life Skills among Students - Participants: Over 500 attendees from around the world. Day 2: 28th May 2024 Resource Person: Prof. Chetan Srivastav, Department of Management Studies and Director, Office of International Affairs - Topics Covered: - Ancient Indian Educational System - Thrust Areas of NEP 2020 - Role of Teachers in Implementing NEP - New Curriculum Development and Implementation - Imparting 21st Century Skills and Knowledge - Focus on OBE (Outcome-Based Education) - Academic Integrity - Session: Clarified participants' queries and concluded with a formal vote of thanks.
