St. Mary's Centenary Degree College, in collaboration with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), successfully conducted the "Super Mega Career Counselling Programme" on 29th August 2024. This event was organized to guide and inspire students about the various career opportunities in the field of commerce and accountancy. The programme saw enthusiastic participation from both first-year and final-year B.Com students, who eagerly awaited insights into the professional world. The session was led by the esteemed CA Soumya, a prominent Chartered Accountant and a seasoned resource person known for her expertise in career guidance. During the session, CA Soumya provided comprehensive information on the Chartered Accountancy course, the challenges and rewards of the profession, and the vast career opportunities available to commerce graduates. She emphasized the importance of dedication, continuous learning, and ethical practice in building a successful career in accountancy. Her interactive approach kept the students engaged, and she addressed various queries related to the CA course, internships, and future prospects.
