Stand-Up Comedy

The English Department at SMCDC had conducted a “Stand-Up Comedy” event on 4th October, 2023. The registered students participated with immense enthusiasm and tickled the funny bone of the audience. The judges for the event were Mrs. Kalyani, Dean of Academics, Mrs. Sudha, Head of the Computer Dept., and Mrs. Nancy, Head of the English Dept. The participating students were assessed based on three criteria that is humour, fluency of the language and novelty of ideas. The winners of the competition were : 1st Prize- VALANGANI JAMES, 1 RA 2nd Prize- CH. SANJANA, BBA 2A 3rd Prize- CLEMENT NIKHIL DAVID, 2 CA & NOMAAN MOHAMMAD, 2CC
