Drama and Dazzle

The Department of English had conducted an Intra-College Competition titled , “Drama and Dazzle” on Tuesday 13 February, 2024. Engaging in such vibrant stage performances regularly helps students develop appropriate communication skills, attain confidence in public speaking skills and also improve their overall non-verbal expressions. A total of 9 teams had registered for this event. Students of Class : BBA 2B, who performed a skit on the short story "The Gift of Magi" won the 1st prize, the second prize was won by the performers from Class : 2CC for the famous Shakespearean play "The Merchant of Venice ", while students of Class : 2CA, who had performed the skit titled “The Interview" won the 3rd prize. A consolation prize was also awarded to the students of both Class: 1CB & 1CC, who had together performed a skit on the short story “The Eyes are Not Here”. We congratulate the winners and all the performers for their fantastic performances. Collaborative efforts promote teamwork and also foster critical thinking skills. Overall, this drama competition helped cultivate multifaceted skills among our students thereby enriching their personal and artistic development.
